Breast Implant Sizes: Choosing the Right Look For You
If you've made the decision to have a breast implant, your next decision is about breast implant sizes. How big do you want them to be? Breast implant sizes come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and forms. Breast implant sizes are referred to by surgeons as CCs - in other words, the number of cubic centimeters of saline with which the surgeon fills the implant. The higher the CC number, the larger the breast implant sizes are. Interestingly, though, breast implant sizes are not the most crucial decision overall. This because the average breast implant patient is a 34-year-old mother of two children, whose concern is more often the misshapenness or sagginess brought on by pregnancy and breast-feeding and somewhat by age. Breast implant sizes are not her primary concern. That having been said, however, last year more than 225,000 women did have breast enlargements because they were not happy with the size of their breasts. For them, breast implant sizes would have been of primary importance. A recent study showed that only 13 percent of female participants admitted having a second breast augmentation procedure, but 92 percent of those who did had had their implants replaced because they were not happy with their breast implant sizes. What this means is that before the surgery women need to carefully consider and talk with their surgeons not only about the pros and cons of the procedure and the preparation for it should they decide to proceed, but also about the various options in breast implant sizes. Women deciding to have a breast augmentation should avoid unrealistic expectations, however, in their breast implant sizes.
